What does a Committee do?
1
MEETS REGULARLY
Meetings are conducted like any civic board or committee—motions are made, seconded, and voted on.
2
APPROVES PROCLAMATIONS
At each meeting, the Committee passes statements describing rights and government abuses (or adopts existing ones from other Committees).
3
PUBLISHES PROCLAMATIONS
A Committee shares these statements with the general public and with other Committees in its area via social media, email, website, ad, letter, flyer, etc.
What should be in a Proclamation?
Proclamations are simple statements on any topic your Committee wants to alert the public to. The more concise and rooted in common sense it is, the more effective it will be. Click the button to the right to see an example.
What effects does this have?
Regularly publishing statements of rights and abuses to your city is a simple and effective way to advance the patriot cause.
There are 4 reasons to do this.
GET STARTEDEDUCATES THE PUBLIC
People are distracted by their every day lives. Consistent statements from your Committee will build on themselves and alert the public to the growing danger to their liberties.
BUILDS PUBLIC SUPPORT
One by one, your Committee’s common-sense and practical statements will build awareness and support for your Committee and the broader patriot movement.
BUILDS LEADERS
You don’t need to run for office to be a local political leader. By working within the Committee system, you will learn how to be an effective patriot statesman.
COORDINATES WITH OTHER COMMITTEES
By sharing your public statements with other Committees, your statement can reach patriots in other communities. Committees will literally be on the same page with each other, expanding the opportunity for spreading news, sharing ideas, and mutual assistance.
